The 451cc Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is set to arrive in UK dealerships in 2024, with all the pertinent information about Akashi's twin-cylinder cruiser now disclosed. In 2024, the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 will be available for purchase.
The complete specifications for the 2024 UK model of the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 have now been disclosed.
The 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 cruiser, which is eligible for A2 license holders, was initially unveiled in June. Although it was confirmed to feature the 451cc twin-cylinder engine from the Ninja 400 and Z 400, and to have 18- and 16-inch wheels at the front and back respectively, the complete specifications had yet to be revealed.
Kawasaki has finally dispelled all confusion surrounding the motorcycle, revealing that it will feature a steel trellis frame based on the Ninja 400. This design results in a wheelbase of 1,520mm and a direct connection between the swingarm and engine through a diecast mounting plate. The bike's suspension consists of conventional front forks and twin rear shocks. In terms of height, the seat can be adjusted to 735mm as its standard setting, but can also be lowered to 715mm or raised to 765mm for customization.
The previously mentioned 451cc engine is anticipated to generate 49bhp and 28lb ft of torque. It incorporates downdraft intakes, shortening the route of air to the cylinders. The airbox boasts a capacity of 5.8-litres and features left and right intake funnels positioned at varying heights, resulting in a seamless response from the engine according to Kawasaki. Additionally, the volume of airflow is enhanced by a 32mm throttle body.
The bike also boasts full LED lighting and an LCD screen that allows for connection to the Kawasaki Rideology app.
The Kawasaki Eliminator 500 SE boasts unique features such as a custom graphic on the headlamp cowl, distinctive stitching on the seat, rubber fork boots, and a convenient USB-C port located on the handlebar.
As of now, we do not have a confirmed price. We are basing our expectations on Kawasaki's previously released "guide price" of £6,600-£6,800.
